graduated as architect at the university of arts in berlin (udk), he gained experience from design to contruction in different offices like bruno fioretti marques, staab and nieto sobejano over years. in 2018 he decided to work independently on his own projects above all in imagery production.

michael fenske works as professional cg artist. he uses specific sotware for modelling and rendering to visualize ideas, competition entries or unbuilt projects. for him technology is an integral part of todays design work. decision making can be done efficently and experimentally at same time to get the best results as possible meanwhile new opportunities can emerge.

michael fenske designs interior spaces, furniture and housing projects. he is able to shape the light and develop extraordinary material configurations by using technics of computer aided design and generated imagery. each project becomes verified aesthetically. as architect he is aware of the physical and craftsmanship world we live in. every step in the design process relates to the real world.

michael fenske photographs light and color constellations since years. in his study he tries to understand more about the rules of beauty and design. the images he has taken show architecture, interior spaces, products, art and people.

since 2020 he teaches at the university.
